Main Street group cleans up downtown

Main Street Thermopolis' Clean Team took to the downtown streets last Monday, June 26. Sabrina Bullard-Stucky, Johnny Dorman, Meri Ann Rush, Howie Samelson, Suzanne Samelson, Deb Tudor and Gavin Turner were enthusiastic participants. The group weeded, trimmed trees, swept, picked up cigarette butts. They also answered questions from visitors about eating, lodging and soaking in our town.

Main Street Thermopolis is part of a state and national program committed to the celebrating our community's character, preserving local history, and leveraging both to generate economic vitality. The next major event will be Oktobrewfest on Saturday, September 16. All are welcome to attend our monthly meetings on the fourth Thursday.
