Thelma 'Dollie' Coffee

Longtime Thermopolis resident, Thelma Neeman “Dollie” Coffee, 95, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Washakie Medical Center in Worland.

Born December 14, 1921, in Roseville, Neb., she was one of seven children of Ted and Velma (Long) Neeman. She lived in Nebraska until moving to Thermopolis in 1942

In 1970 she married Earl Ervin Coffee. Mr. Coffee died in 1977.

For most of her life she was a baker and baked for IGA many years. She was a member of the VFW and the Christian Church. She enjoyed playing cards and was a familiar face at the Senior Citizens Center drinking her tea.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Roberts of Thermopolis; eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, 5 great, great-grandchildren; and her good friend, Fred Yeaman. 

She is preceded in death was her husband, Earl; her children, Earl Rutherford, Jr, Jo Ann Bruce, Richard Bruce and Delores Lacby; grandsons, Pat & David Bruce; five brothers; and a sister.

Funeral services were held April 19 at Mortimore Funeral Home with Pastor Daryl Lottman, of Hot Springs Christian Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
