Snowy crash

Law enforcement, along with fire and emergency services responded to an accident Monday just before 5 p.m. on Owl Creek Road. A southbound truck driven by Jay Brown was travelling too fast and ran a stop sign, striking an eastbound hatchback sedan driven by Deana Sanchez, who was transported from the scene. The Bureau of Indian Affairs has taken over the investigation, and Brown was arrested by the BIA agent at the scene for alleged driving under the influence.
