Beta Sigma Phi craft show

Those who want to get an early jump on their holiday shopping, or who are looking for a unique gift or two, can check out the Beta Sigma Phi craft sale Saturday, Nov. 19 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Thermopolis Middle School gymnasium.

Ranae Baldes with the local chapter of the sorority noted 23 vendors have already signed up, but there are still some spots open.

Vendors include a variety of people who have handcrafted items, as well as local retail distributors.

Beginning at about 10 a.m., food and drink will be served in the TMS commons area. The menu includes Sloppy Joes, chili dogs and nachos; a variety of pies will also be available. The commons will also be home to the People for People Backpack Program Tree Lot Sale the same day.

Proceeds from the craft sale will go to the Nancy Gottula scholarship — which is available to female students for furthering education — and back into the community.

Beta Sigma Phi is a life learning sorority. It is an international women’s organization formed over 80 years ago, and since its inception more than one million women have joined. More information is available at http://www.betasigmaphi.org.
