HSC Museum photo archives now online

History buffs, or just about anyone interested in the history of Hot Springs County, can now access the photo archives of the Hot Springs County Museum and Cultural Center online.

The free service has been more than four years in the making, creating a way for folks to search the database by a keyword search, advanced search or just take a look at random images.

Searches of the more than 10,000 photos can be narrowed down in a number of ways, for instance by a specific phrase such as “LU Sheep Ranch”, which will give you photos related to the ranch. You may search by family names as well.

The archives are broken down into “books” that you may simply browse through as well if you have nothing specific in mind.

The collection is free and may be accessed at hschistory.pastperfectonline.com. If there is a particular photo you would like for yourself, you are able to fill out a short form online and a digital copy will be emailed to you from the museum.
