4-H golf fundraiser set

The Smokin’ Waters Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 10 at the Thermopolis Golf Course.

All proceeds from the event benefit local 4-H youth and programs.

The fun kicks off at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. with a shotgun start. Four person teams will play an 18 hole scrammble.

Top prizes include $25,000 for a hole in one on hole 8, a $1,000 putting contest and $8,000 in cash and prizes will be paid to the top three teams gross and net.

There will be a discounted practice round on Friday night.

The entry fee is $100 per player and includes green fees, cart rental, mulligan package and the awards dinner following the tournament.

Teams may enter at the Thermopolis Golf Course or for more information contact the Hot Springs County Extension Office at 864-5294.
