Stubson running for Congress

Among those on the ballot that the people of Wyoming will decide for their Congressional representatives is Tim Stubson. A man who spent some of his childhood growing up in Thermopolis and still has some "bobcat blood," Stubson said the big thing for him is to have somebody in a seat that has worked with the federal issues.

For over four years, he has co-chaired the Select Committee on Federal Natural Resource Management, and came to realize just how little an impact the State has regarding proposed regulations.

In addition to addressing regulation on natural resource production, Stubson is looking to address how the government deals with small businesses, as they are a vital part of the communities. He further noted in his talks with people he has heard several times that "the system is broke," - a statement he agrees with - and he wants to make Congress more accountable.

The owner of a small business law practice in Casper, and having served in the Wyoming House of Representatives for nine years, Stubson noted his home has always been Wyoming and the success of the state ties in closely with his own personal success. Looking at the future of Wyoming, he said it's important to have someone in Congress who has a vested interest in the state.
