Candidate meet and greet planned

Those who want the opportunity to shake hands with and ask questions of those vying for positions at the local, county, state and federal level are encouraged to attend the Meet The Candidates event at Thermopolis Middle School, Aug. 1 beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Meri Ann Rush noted letters have been sent out to candidates, though it was not known how many will show; that number will be a factor in how much time is allowed for questions.

A reception is scheduled to follow the question and answer period.
