County library hosting writing workshop

A free dinner and a movie will be offered at Hot Springs County Library Tuesday, June 14 at 6 p.m.

Pulled pork will be served. The movie “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” will be shown.

A presentation by Lori Howe is set for Tuesday, June 21 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the library. Participants will take part in a guided poetry or personal essay/memoir writing and a workshop on their poems and essays.

Howe is a Wyoming landscape poet and author and a long-time teacher of writing workshops for the University of Wyoming.

Water in Wyoming is presented by the Wyoming Humanities Council as part of its Think WYRoad Scholars Tours Program.

The Wyoming Humanities Council provides public humanities-based programs in partnership with local organizations and is funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities with additional support from private donors and the Wyoming Legislature.
