Philips joins team to develop brain scan

Gavin Philips, a Hot Springs County High School graduate in 2001, has been hired by the Johns Hopkins Medical Center’s Institute for Cell Engineering to join an international team of doctors developing a new form of brain scan. The project is partially funded by President Obama’s Brain Initiative.
