Holiday Affair set for Saturday

Beta Sigma Phi will be hosting its annual Holiday Affair on Saturday, Nov. 21 at Thermopolis Middle School from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Featuring a variety of homemade crafts, gifts, food items and home based vendors, the Holiday Affair is the primary fundraiser for the group.

The People for People program will be selling decorated trees and wreaths in the TMS commons. Proceeds will go to the Backpack Program which aims to stop hunger in the county’s public schools by sending home weekend meals with students.

Over 30 vendors are expected to fill the venue, which includes the TMS commons and gymnasium.

Shailee Harvey will be on hand with a photo booth.

Lunch, pie, coffee and other beverages will be available.

Monies raised from the event will be used for various local charities like Coats for Kids, the library foundation, a local scholarship and food baskets during the holidays.
