John French

John Lawrence French, 60, died Monday, September 14, 2015, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital in Thermopolis.

Born January 28, 1955, in Denver, Colo., he was the son of Floyd and Letamae (Adkisson) French. After high school he served in the Air Force from 1974 -1977 then served in the Army National Guard until 1980.

Among his many work experiences he was employed at the Pikes Peak Observatory, test drove high-end cars in the mountains for Kitt Engineering, and was a buyer for Mediquip in St. Louis, Mo. He moved to Thermopolis in 2012 and was presently studying online for his business degree, lacking two credits at the time of his death.

John enjoyed camping, astronomy and technology.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, uncles, and aunts.

Loved ones remaining are his parents, Floyd and Letamae of Thermopolis; brothers, Scot (Bobbie) of Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas, and Roy (Hayet) of Omaha, Neb .; sisters, Kerry (Lyle) Grossman of Thermopolis and Miriam (Tim) Ridolfi of Bella Vista, Ark .; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and uncles and aunts.

Private graveside services were held Monday, September 21, 2015, 2 p.m. at Monument Hill Cemetery.
