The Thermopolis Farmers & Artisans Market (TFAM) has a new board this year and recently received their 501(c)(3) IRS nonprofit status. This year TFAM was one of four farmers markets statewide that received a Harvest Bucks grant from the Farm Credit Services Agency through Centsible Nutrition and the University of Wyoming Extension program. Our vendor of the week for the Thermopolis Farmers Market is Philip Howard's Pack Mule House. Howard, who has been doing custom 3-D since 2018, has added a fun element to his work through local markets. He and his wife, Jassamyn, create Wind River maps, money keepers for on the river, jewelry, and many other fun and useful things, all out of a 3-D printer. Our vendor of the week for the Thermopolis Farmers Market is Soughdough Creations. Rachel Bachman, with the help of a few of her 13 children (Chloe pictured above), have been making and selling bread since June of 2024. They now serve the farmers markets in Thermopolis and Worland. Our Thermopolis Farmers Market vendor of the week is Red Canyon Bison Ranch. Red Canyon has been operating in Thermopolis for the past six years. They feature ground, brisket, try-tip, short ribs, ribeye, tenderloin, and more. Their ranch is located in the foothills of the Owl Creek Mountains, an area that was bison territory for 350,000 years before they were wiped out.
