    Hot Springs County Library is hosting a traveling photography exhibit showcasing the work of Edward S. Curtis through April 30. Pieces from Curtis’s The North American Indian, a grand work that provides a permanent record of 80 North American tribes, will be featured in the exhibit.     Students at Thermopolis Middle School are working to help the people of Sudan by providing funding for a well there. The inspiration for the project came after they read “A Long Walk to Water” by Linda Sue Park. The novel tells two stories. One is the fictional account of Nya, a girl in Sudan who is fetching water from a pond for her family, travelling over miles of rough terrain in searing heat to do so.     The National Weather Service (NWS) in Riverton will teach a Severe Weather Spotter training class to increase the number of weather spotters in Hot Springs County. The free, two-hour training class will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 30, in the County Annex Building at 117 North Fourth Street.
