An Irish Evening with Spencer is set for Saturday, March 5 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Hot Springs County Fair Building. All proceeds from the event will go toward helping with expenses incurred after Spencer Luce was injured after being hit by a car on Dec. 9 while walking at the intersection of North Sixth and Big Horn. His leg was badly broken and he is wheel chair-bound doing follow up care hoping to be able to walk again. A Wyoming veterans service officer from the Wyoming Veterans Commission will be in Thermopolis Thursday, March 10 at the Hot Springs County Museum from noon-3 p.m. Brad Cline is available to meet with veterans and their families to discuss state and federal veterans' benefits, Department of Veterans Affairs claims, or VA healthcare. The Hot Springs County 4-H held their third annual Free Chili Dinner and Dessert Auction. The event started with a dinner that featured chili, regular and green, as well as chicken noodle and potato soups.
