Nancy Kay Barton

Nancy Kay Barton, 71, Thermopolis resident, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2021, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where she had been flown for treatment.

Born March 22, 1950, in Casper, Wyo., she was the daughter of Gene Louis and Phyllis June (West) Rush. Following high school, she married Roger Lee Barton on May 2, 1969, in Denver, Colo.

She was employed as a County Deputy Treasurer for several years. Later Nancy was an Adult Librarian at Hot Springs County Library. She enjoyed volunteering at a Blind Camp.

She is survived by her brother, Michael Rush of Evansville, Wyo .; and sister, Sharon McDaniel of Vail, Colo. 

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Aaron; and husband, Roger.
