HSSP named one of the best

Hot Springs State Park was just named one of the best hot springs in the United States by Travel & Leisure, a travel magazine with over five million monthly visitors to their site.

According to Travel & Leisure, "No matter the season, natural hot springs offer relaxing, geothermal waters in often scenic settings."

Hot Springs State Park Superintendent Kevin Skates is quick to agree, "Water is nature's blood and we are fortunate to have some of the best in the world!"

The article, titled "10 of the Best Hot Springs in the United States", featured Hot Springs State Park on top of the list. Travel & Leisure's highlight said, "Named Thermopolis for its many natural hot springs, this town is home to Hot Springs State Park. Visitors can soak in the public bathhouse's 104-degree waters for free. Keep an eye out for bison, and be sure to check out the petroglyphs at Legend Rock while you're there."

Wyoming Office of Tourism announced the designation and further stated that Wyoming earned two spots on the list which were Hot Springs State Park and Yellowstone National Park.

In addition to the write-ups, the article leads with a T+L slideshow video of images showcasing the hot springs around the country. You can watch or read the full piece at https://www.travelandleisure.com/trip-ideas/nature-travel/best-hot-springs-usa.
