Adult volleyball enters week four

The Hot Springs County Recreation District’s Adult Co-Ed Volleyball League is midway through its regular season, with Owl Creek maintaining its undefeated streak following a 25-23, 25-16 and 25-20 set against 2 Legit to Hit on Sept. 25.

Gassed by Gottsche, another front-runner, has a record that’s nothing to scoff at, finishing the evening’s games at 11-1 with a 25-19, 26-24 and 25-21 set against How I Set Your Mother, and a 25-23, 25-22, 20-25 set against Beavis and Bumphead for their first loss.

The fourth match of the night even had a couple wins for Kikyapunkas, who went 25-13, 25-9 and 20-25 against Lord Have MRSA.

Games scheduled for Oct. 2 included How I Set against Owl Creek, 2 Legit against MRSA, Gassed against 2 Legit and Beavis against Kikyapunkas. Games are every Wednesday at the high school, at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Playoffs will begin Oct. 30, with the championship Nov. 20.
