Adult softball game results

Slide One In had an 11-6 win over One Stop Repair during the Hot Springs County Recreation District’s Adult Co-Ed Softball League action on June 11. In the second matchup of the evening, Robin Batsman won 11-9 against One Eyed Buffalo.

Standout performers in the first game were: Chris Shoemaker with a .750 average, two runs, eight runs batted in and a home run for Slide One In, and Aaron Metz with a 1.000 average, two runs and two runs batted in for One Stop.

Second game standouts were: Jack Horab with a 1.000 average, two runs, five runs batted in and a home run for Robin Batsman, and Curt Mayer with a 1.000 average, one run, three runs batted in and a home run for OEB.

On June 13, One Stop Repair beat the Rated “R” Superstars 8-3 and Storyteller won 21-13 against Robin Batsman.

Standout performers in the first game were: Jason Ciz with a 1.000 average, two runs and one run batted in for One Stop, and Chuck Chrisien with a .750 average and two runs for Rated “R.”

Second game standouts were: David Evans with a 1.000 average, three runs, five runs batted in and two home runs for Storyteller, and Drew Brown with a 1.000 average, three runs, six runs batted in and a home run for Robin Batsman.

Games are scheduled twice weekly, Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning at 6:30 p.m., though there will be some three-game nights to make up for games cancelled due to rain. Playoffs begin July 11, with the championship July 18.
