Livestock show planned for Friday

The Hot Springs County Fairgrounds will be home to the Junior Livestock Show on Friday, June 7 beginning at noon.

Participants will enter their animals the day of the show, and the order of showing will be swine, lambs, heifers and beef. Weigh in times and fees are: 9:45 a.m. for swine, $25 per head; 10:30 a.m. for lambs, $20 per head; and 11 a.m. for cattle, $30 per head. Prizes include buckles, banners and cash.

There will also be a Joey Mahoney Memorial PeeWee Showmanship event for all species, for ages seven and under. There is no entry fee for the PeeWee event, and all PeeWees will receive prizes.
