Monthly hikes kick off for the summer

Get your favorite hiking shoes on and come join the Friends of Hot Springs State Park and Legend Rock for a series of monthly hikes this summer.

The first hike will be this Saturday, weather permitting, along the Spirit Trail inside the park.

Meet at the Big Spring parking lot on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. and walk along a trail of approximately two miles of established trail along the base of Monument Hill, Spirit Hole and the Big Horn River.

Along with good walking shoes, a jacket, water and camera are suggested items to bring with you.

Other hikes this summer will include a Legend Rock hike in June, Quarry Trail hike in July and a White Sulphur hike in August.
