Doughboy presentation

The Hot Springs County Historical Society will host Doug Cubbison on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. at the Hot Springs County Historical Museum.

Cubbison will speak about the roles played by Indian Doughboys During World War I. He will explain the action they saw, condition they experienced as a minority in the Armed Forces and the patriotism they exhibited on the Wind River Reservation prior to and during WWI.

He is a widely published professional military historian with nine books and numerous other published works to his credit. He is currently curator for the National Museum of Military Vehicles in Dubois.

The public is invited to view this free presentation at the museum and recognize military heroes as we celebrate Veterans Day.
