Be on the look out for ghosts, goblins, witches and super heroes

Halloween is just around the corner and so is one of the most anticipated, spook-tacular nights in downtown Thermopolis – Moonlight Madness.

The event kicks off on Thursday, Oct. 25 with the Pinnacle Bank Costume Contest at 5:45 in Bicentennial Park. There will be prizes for the various age groups, from babies to teens with judging done by Pinnacle Bank’s employees.

The Gottsche haunted bus will be located at Bicentennial Park. Go on the most frightening ride of your life on the haunted bus provided by Hazel n Pearls.

If you get a little hungry, pop over to the Masonic Hall on Arapahoe for a couple of their famous Mason Tacos, then go across the street to Las Fuentes for their Pinata Bash and some free hot apple cider.

Kids will be able to trick or treat at participating downtown businesses and there will be a costume photo booth to capture the memory of this year’s costume.

The event will run until 8 p.m. with sales around every corner.
