Jackrabbit Java named 'People's Choice'

The first annual Roasters Rendezvous, featuring small coffee roasters across Wyoming was held in Riverton last weekend.

Thermopolis’ own Jackrabbit Java from Storyteller took “People’s Choice” honors during the event.

They took eight of their roasts with them, including two that scored over 92 points and Coffee Review’s #3 value coffee of 2018.

The festival included unlimited sampling of the region’s best coffees as well as local vendors, music, workshops and even coffee cocktails in the Intertribal Center at Central Wyoming College.

Competitors came from all over the state, including Pinedale, Buffalo, Jackson, Sheridan, Casper and several others, including one entry from just over the border in Idaho.
