Close calls

Friday at about 4:30 p.m. the Wyoming Highway Patrol responded to an accident near mile marker 7 on Highway 120. According to a report, a semi was northbound when a driver in a second vehicle attempted to make a left turn onto the highway. The semi struck the vehicle and pushed it off the side of the road. The semi went off the same side, though the trailer jackknifed and struck a third vehicle on the opposite side. The owner of the third vehicle was standing outside of it and sustained a broken leg, but there were no other major injuries. the responding trooper did not provide names of those involved.
