Shirley Hassheider

Shirley Mae Hassheider, 83, passed away suddenly July 4, 2018, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital.

Born May 6, 1935 in Thermopolis, she was the daughter of George and Helen (Adamson) Scholz. Shirley was a Board member of Child Evangelism Fellowship and loved to support and help missionaries. She was on a Missions Committee and taught Sunday school at First Baptist Church. Shirley also enjoyed any kind of puzzle, reading, playing with her dogs, gardening and spending time with family, friends and her companion/caregiver, John Susich.

She is survived by her son, Stephen Hassheider; daughters, Susan Miller and Debra Tripplet; sisters, Nancy Peattie and Linda Anderson; and former husband, Richard Hassheider Hall

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, George and Helen Scholz; children, Deborah Jean Hassheider and Richard Ross Hassheider; and brother, Gerald Scholz

Memorial services will be held Friday, July 13 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Thermopolis.
