Roberts concert in the park Monday

An evening of jazz, funk, soul, salsa and a little rhythm and blues is slated for Monday night in Hot Springs State Park as the Music in the Parks series presents John Roberts y Pan Blanco.

The free concert will be held on the pavilion starting at 7 p.m.

Pie and ice cream is being provided by Friends of Hot Springs State Park and concessions will be provided by Shorty’s Saloon and Liquor Store.

Roberts has spent more than 15 years recording and performing all over the U.S. and abroad, including Mexico, India, Asia, Europe, the Caribbean, Australia and Africa.

He is currently on staff at Montana State University Billings as a jazz instructor along with teaching music theory, low brass and world music.

Come on out for some awesome music and a little dancing if the rhythm moves you.
