4:09 p.m. A civil standby was performed at the Law Enforcement Center.
Wednesday, February 22
1:59 p.m. Report of shoplifting at a business south of town. The matter is under investigation.
12:09 p.m. Report of possible identity theft. A subject received paperwork from a credit card company regarding two cards, one in her name and the other in another’s name. Complainant does not know the second subject, and has never applied for a card with the company.
2:29 p.m. Agency assist with Department of Family Services.
6:43 p.m. Deputy assisted police with an accident on hospital hill. There was a deer on the road, initially struck by a commercial truck, and later by a second vehicle while officers were on scene.
Thursday, February 23
7:39 p.m. Report of a vehicle on Highway 20 driving too fast for conditions and not passing safely. The vehicle could not be located.
Friday, February 24
12:02 p.m. A subject was informed about possible fraudulent activity on a bank account, in the amount of $1,500.
1:54 p.m. An agency assist was provided for Probation and Parole.
Saturday, February 25
3:07 p.m. Report of a vehicle which slid off the road on Highway 20 South. The driver advised he had hit some black ice. There was no damage and the vehicle was towed.
5:35 p.m. A cow was out near mile marker 142 on Highway 20 North. A deputy was able to locate the cow and get it back in its pasture.
5:39 p.m. REDDI report near West Sunnyside. A deputy was unable to locate the suspect vehicle.
11:15 p.m. Caller requested to speak with a deputy.

1:53 p.m. Report of a dog barking inside a horse trailer south of town. The owner was contacted and brought the dog inside.

Tuesday, February 21
4:40 a.m. Subject reported being the victim of a scam, and was given advice on what to do next.
2:09 p.m. Report of a vehicle that was egged.
9:19 p.m. Officer responded to a subject who reported getting into an argument with a significant other and was requesting guidance.
Wednesday, February 22
9:16 a.m. A cat was trapped and impounded.
4:44 p.m. A welfare check was requested on an individual. Contact was made with the subject.
5:09 p.m. Caller reported seeing someone dumping what appeared to be unusual items. The incident was investigated, and everything was found to be OK.
5:30 p.m. Recovery of property from one of the vehicles targeted during a recent rash of vehicle burglaries.
Thursday, February 23
8:22 a.m. Report regarding a parent having issues with children.
11:34 a.m. Report of a dog at large. The dog could not be located.
3:18 p.m. Complainant reported a vehicle passing a school bus. The driver was located, contacted and cited.
4:12 p.m. Two vehicle accident. A state report was completed.
4:53 p.m. Welfare check requested on an individual. The subject was contacted.
Friday, February 24
10:30 a.m. Report of a dog running off. The dog was later located and returned home.
1:12 p.m. Assist with Department of Family Services.
5 p.m. Report of a fake $20 bill found in a donation box.
Saturday, February 25
11:40 a.m. Subject requested a civil standby during the removal of some property.
12:40 p.m. Reported theft of firearms from a vehicle, as part of the recent vehicle burglaries. One firearm has been recovered.
5:08 p.m. Dog reported missing was found by its owner.
Sunday, February, 26
8:31 a.m. Report of a dog at large. The dog could not be located.
1:40 p.m. Complainant reported a vehicle blocking access to a property. The vehicle was moved.
3:54 p.m. Officer responded to a disagreement among people. Complainant wanted a trespassing notice served on other individuals, and it was.
9:12 p.m. Elderly subject reported someone in the house. There were no other subjects found.
Monday, February 27
11:05 a.m. Report of a dog possibly hit by a vehicle. The owner retrieved the dog before an officer arrived.
3:46 p.m. Complainant stated there were people in a house who should not be there. Contact was made with the subjects.
4:11 p.m. Report of a back window broken out of a vehicle.
