The first Hot Springs County Practical Tactical Rimfire Long Range Blazathon National Championship will be Saturday, Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. at The Bob Milek Memorial Range west of Thermopolis along Highway 120.
The shoot is for any caliber rimfire rifle. Competitors should bring at least 150 rounds, spare magazine, eye and ear protection.
The shoot will be a three stage course of fire. Adults and youths 12 and older are welcome. Youths must have a guardian present and have shooting experience.
A mandatory safety meeting will be held prior to the start of shooing. There is a $5 registration fee. Certificates and prizes will be awarded.
