Owl Creek Watershed Study meeting Wednesday

An open house will be held to learn about the recently launched Owl Creek Watershed Study, Level 1, on Wednesday, Oct. 12 from 6-8 p.m. in the downstairs meeting room of Big Horn Federal.

The meeting is sponsored by the Hot Springs Conservation District in coordination with the Wyoming Water Development Commission and managed by Lowham Walsh Engineering and Environmental Services of Lander.

The project will identify beneficial water distribution, rangeland and habitat improvements that can be completed within the watershed study area and identify prospective funding sources for the projects.

There will be time for questions and individual discussion with project team members. For more information, contact project manager Marit Sawyer at (307) 335-8466.
