Thomas Allard

Thomas Don Allard, 59, passed away March 31, 2016.

Thomas was born July 25, 1956, in Thermopolis, Wyo., to Donald C. and Grace E. Allard. Thomas grew up in Thermopolis and graduated from Hot Springs County High School in 1974. He met his future wife while still in high school when he was a senior and she was a junior. They started dating on January 12, 1974.

Thomas and Laurie Patceg were married November 13, 1976, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Thermopolis. They had two sons, Ashley Skylar and Travis Dean, and one daughter, Kira Nicolle. Thomas worked in the oil fields and for one year drilling offshore in Alaska. In 1984, Thomas and his family moved to Las Vegas, Nev. He worked in the casino industry from 1984 until his passing holding various positions. He started out as a dealer and worked his way up to a casino manager. Thomas was a Mason, Past Master of the Masonic Lodge in Philadelphia, Miss. and a Shriner.

Thomas enjoyed rock climbing, his home state of Wyoming, working out, but most of all he enjoyed spending every minute possible with the love of his life, Laurie, and his family.

He is survived by his wife, Laurie; sons, Ashley (Randi) Allard and Travis (Mandy) Allard; daughter, Kira (Josh) Campion; eight grandchildren; mother, Grace Allard Plaster and stepfather Mike Plaster; and brother Chuck.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy Emerson Westling; father, Donald Allard; and sister Dorothy Allard.

Memorial services were held at Red Springs area at Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas on April 6.
