    Charlie and Kim Smith recently opened a new cafe restaurant at the stoplight, the 7 Lazy S Cafe. It’s located in the old Elle’s Restaurant and Bar/Thermopolis Cafe location at 109 South 6th Street. The name 7 Lazy S comes from Charlie’s brand when he ran cows.     At the May 13 Chamber of Commerce meeting, the chamber did a membership review for the past year. Chamber Director Meri Ann Rush reported that in April 2020 there was only one tourist that visited their office in the entire month. However overall their stats look good.     During the September Travel and Tourism meeting for September, Matt Hughes, Treasurer reported that he changed the format of the financial reports and reduced redundant work in order to aid efficiency and times saving measures. The board already receives data from their account at Koerwitz et al. and they no longer have to recreate the reports.
