    On December 3, the Thermopolis Police Department teamed with the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation in taking down the Thermopolis King Pin of a multi-state/multi-person drug ring.     Written bids for nine animals from the state bison herd will be accepted at the Hot Springs State Park office in Thermopolis until 5 p.m., January 12 for the purchase of the following bison: four 2020 heifer calves, three 2020 bull calves, and two 2019 yearling heifers.     The Hot Springs County Travel and Tourism board met for its December meeting last week in the form of a public hearing per its compliance requirements according to law. Treasurer Matt Hughes presented the financial report ending in November 2020. They were at the time of the meeting 54.4% successful in dispersing their CARES Act funding and by that next Friday will have fully spent the CARES Act money according to the requirements of funding.
