    Thirty-one people attended a special Title 25 meeting on Monday night to discuss the hospital’s stand on Title 25 patients and what can be done to eleviate the problem. The issue arose a couple of weeks ago when the hospital board informed the county commissioners they would no longer hold Title 25 patients at the hospital once they were medically stable due to safety concerns for staff and other patients.     Tuesday night during the Thermopolis Town Council meeting, town Engineer Anthony Barnett provided several updates to projects happening around town. Council approved a motion to approved the second pay estimate for the chip seal project n the amount of $9,438.80. A first pay estimate of $41,901.64 for the 12th Street sewer repair and a first estimate of $47,673 for the airport tank painting project were approved as part of the council’s approval of the bills.     Last Friday at about 5:11 p.m., there was a 4.2 magnitude earthquake about 39 miles east-southeast of Thermopolis. Around town people might have felt a slight tremor, heard a strange noise or didn't even know the quake had enough force to be felt here until they saw something on the news or social media.     Monday in Hot Springs District Court, Ambra O’Brien pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. The charge stems from a July 1 incident, during which O’Brien was found to have Oxycodone.     On Saturday, Nov. 11 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. there will be a turkey shoot at the Bob Milek range. Participants can compete with shotgun and/or pistol at the event, and there will one turkey awarded per squad of five. There a $7 entry fee per squad position.     Robert “Bob” George Hatfield, 90, passed away on Oct. 18, 2017, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center, following the effects of a fall at his home. Bob was born on Jan. 13, 1927, in Thermopolis, Wyo., to William and Cora Hatfield. After graduating from Thermopolis High School in 1945, he promptly served in the Army in World War II and in South Korea until 1947.     The newest business to arrive in downtown is Thermopolis Print Zone and Copy Shop. Howie Samelson said opening the location was in response to a need in the community. He further explained Meri Ann Rush ran the business previously to respond those with immediate printing needs.     The Lady Bobcat volleyball team finished their 2017 season with an up and down trip to the Regional Tournament in Newcastle. The girls played Douglas first, and according to coach Shannon Hill, it was the best they have played against the Lady Bearcats.
