    Those with some original songs or poems are encouraged to submit them to the Friends of the Library Poetry and Song Writing Contest. The contest is scheduled for Nov. 11, 6-8 p.m. at the Hot Springs County Museum, but entries should be in by Nov. 8. There are divisions for K-5, middle school, high school and adult, with cash prizes in each. There is no cost for entering, and forms are available at the Hot Springs County Library.
