    At the September 28 Hot Springs Health Board meeting, CEO Margie Molitor spoke on the decline of Covid cases in Hot Springs County. “I’m still seeing bigger numbers around us, but Hot Springs County is down.     At the September 29 Hot Springs County Travel and Tourism meeting held at the County Museum, in the financial report, Treasurer Audra Dominguez reported and said they had another record-breaking month in receiving lodging tax revenue, now being five months in a row. August brought in $33,734.00 with a historical average of $29,014.64. This amount is 41% greater than the previous year in the same month. This amount combines revenue within Thermopolis at $22,469.93 and Hot Springs County $6,544.72...

  • Picnic area, shed added to community garden

    On September 13, a dedication was held for two new structures at the Community Garden. The garden is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of East Arapahoe and Buffalo Street in East Thermopolis, near the hospital and Red Rock Family Clinic. The two structures are a shed and a picnic area. About 25 people participated in the dedication.     The Bobcat football team traveled to Cokeville last week and came away with a 46-12 loss to the 5th ranked Panthers. “The team battled all day but in the end, the inability to take care of the football caught up with them.
