The Thermopolis Town Council approved a contract Tuesday to have Carr Coatings of Lovell do painting repairs to the Cedar Ridge tank at a cost of $98,925. Thermopolis Middle School track teams have had a remarkable season this year, breaking several school records and setting a few new ones with events added this year. Chandler Maddock broke two school records for the eighth grade boys team. The first record is for the 200M set by John Wallace in 1984. The Travel and Tourism Board approved offering a renewed one-year contract to Cowgirl Consulting to the tune of $42,500, a five percent increase according to state park superintendent Kevin Skates. Lan Lebaron Price, 53, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015, in an ATV accident. He was born on March 7, 1962, in Sacramento, Calif. to Norman and Loyce Price and grew up in Tucson and Thatcher, Ariz. where he learned how to live.
