    At the Thermopolis Town Council meeting on February 16, treasurer Tracey Van Heule presented a resolution for a budget adjustment for some unanticipated revenues and expenditures. One key element to the adjustment was from police chief Julie Mathews who was able to receive a grant from Homeland Security for $134,884.78.     Hot Springs County residents who currently have certain health conditions may now pre-register on the COVID-19 vaccine waiting list. The Wyoming Department of Health has created detailed screening questions to define “medical conditions” as they apply to the COVID vaccination program. County Health offices are required to abide by these definitions. If your condition is not listed below you will not qualify at this time. Top, a Hot Springs State Park truck was retrieved Feb. 17 after it went off the side of the road near Smokey Row Cemetery. The driver was taken to Hot Springs Health were he was treated and released.
