    Members of a Morgan Car Club passed through Thermopolis last week as part of the Morgan Across America Tour. The group had 18 cars from California and cars shipped here from England, New Zealand, France and Australia. They stopped here to get gas and have a little lunch before hitting some of the hot spots, then traveling through to Cody where they planned to spend the night before heading into Yellowstone. The tour is seven weeks long....

  • Bighorn Sheep in Hot Springs State Park

    A Bighorn Sheep wandered into Hot Springs State Park Friday morning. A motorist reported the sheep came off the end of T-Hill, went across Highway 20 and then dropped over an embankment to the railroad tracks. He headed south along the tracks and came out near the Swinging Bridge, then headed back north along the railroad tracks.... Full story

  • Three Bobcats qualify for speech nationals

    The Bobcat Speech and Debate team will be representing Hot Springs County High School at the National Speech and Debate Tournament this summer in Salt Lake City. Three seniors will be traveling to Utah in June after placing at the National Qualifiers Tournament in Riverton at Central Wyoming College last weekend. Kameron Olsen will compete at Nationals in Lincoln-Douglas debate after going undefeated at the qualifying tournament, finishing the weekend with an 8-0 record.
