Gottsche hosts BBQ, tours for OT Month

In recognition of Occupational Therapy Month in April and the work occupational therapists do, the public is invited to a free barbecue at Gottsche on Tuesday, April 24 from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

The meal will be at the Gottsche courtyard, with hamburgers and brats as the main dish with sides like potato salad, beans and pasta salad. Tours of the facility will also be available.

Occupational therapists help in recovery following surgeries on upper extremities, and also help patients learn how to perform daily living activities. Currently Gottsche has two occupational therapists and one certified occupational therapist assistant.

CEO Cheryl Shero invites everyone to stop by for a bite. Gottsche, she said, cares about the community and wants to continue to treat patients and provide the best service they can.
