Hospitality service seminar

Thermopolis will again be home to a hospitality and customer service workshop. Last year saw Casper College Certified Hospitality Educator Ginny Garner bringing advice on the bigger picture of tourism across the state and how people in Thermopolis can be a part of that.

On Tuesday, April 17, Debbie Disney and Christine Hill of Timberline Hospitalities will present the “Keeping It Simple In Hospitality Service & Sales Seminar” from 2-4 p.m. at the conference room at Big Horn Federal.

A focus of the seminar, which is free and open to everyone, is providing tips to fill up one’s “hospitality toolbox” with regard to cultural approach, service recovery, employee empowerment, guest and employee recognition and measuring results. The seminar is also designed to develop care for people and creation of guest experiences and profitability.
