Encore talent show winners

It was largely a musical evening at the Hot Springs County School District auditorium, with contestants taking to the stage during the annual Encore Talent Show.

Winners in each division include:

Elementary — Risen Son Christian School Flag Corps first, Tate Roberts and Trevin Shaffer performing “Who’s On First” second and Madison Shaffer playing “The Addams Family Theme Song” on piano, third.

Middle School — Lillian and Ruthanne Johnson singing a duet of “Through It All” first, Trenton May singing “The Story I Tell” second and Brooklyn Vargas singing “Amazing Grace,” third.

High School — Kathryn Burrows singing “Watch What Happens” first, Grace Whitt performing “Fountain in the Rain” on piano second and Kalli Blandford singing “Scars to Your Beautiful,” third.
