Kay Freudenthal

Kay Custer Freudenthal, 77, passed away on January 21, 2018, in Little Rock, Ark., from complications from a stroke.

She was born in Reno, Nev., on May 11, 1940, to Paul and Lucille Custer. The family moved to Thermopolis in 1948. Kay graduated from Thermopolis High School in 1958 and she married Neil Freudenthal that same year. After Neil retired from Texaco they made their home in Hot Springs Village, Ark., in 1993.

Kay was active in various clubs in the village. She loved to knit and crochet, supplying friends with carious handicrafts. Summers were spent traveling to Wyoming to visit family, camping and fishing. Winters were spent in Florida for a number of years.

She is survived by her husband, Neil; sons, Robert Neil (Kathy) of Nebraska and Gregory Lee and grandson Mathew of New Orleans; and brothers, Paul and Larry Custer.

Kay was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jody Lynn; and her parents.

Memorial services will be held at a later date with burial at Round Top Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to 53 Dedalera Way, Hot Springs Village, AK 71909.
