Adult co-ed basketball season in full swing

The Hot Springs County Rec District Adult Co-ed Basketball League saw its second round of games on Feb. 7.

Carquest took on Merit, with Merit coming out on top with an 80-31 victory. Leading scorers were Hannah Varner with seven points for Carquest and David Evans with 23 for Merit.

The victory puts Merit at 2-0 for the season, while their opponent is still looking for that first win.

In the matchup between Vicklund Pharmacy and Hoosier Daddy, the pharmacy won 71-43. Top scorers were Steth Daniels with 30 for Vicklund, and Dillon Upton and Andrew Ennis with 10 points each for Hoosier.

Vicklund is now at 1-1 for the season, while Hoosier is at 0-2

Red Rock Family Practice won 50-34 against One Hill of a Cizzle. Leading scorers were Riley Whitt with 20 points for Red Rock and Shane Corpening with nine points for One Hill.

Red Rock’s record is now 2-0 and One Hill is 1-1.

Week 3 games are scheduled for Feb. 14, with Hoosier Daddy vs. Red Rock at 6 p.m., Carquest vs. One Hill at 7 p.m. and Merit vs. Vicklund at 8 p.m.
