FFA Alumni sponsored events are crowd pleasers

A good crowd of folks got the chance to vote for their favorite chili at the FFA Alumni sponsored Annual Chili Cook-Off last week during the Hot Springs County Fair.

The top winners were chosen by votes from everyone who stopped in for a bite.

People's Choice honors went to Amanda Moeller with the green chili winner being Katie Jones and red chili winner, John Hammond.

Pig wrestling results

The pig wrestling competition, sponsored by the FFA Alumni, was once again a highlight of fair week.

Winners in the youth division (4-7-year olds) were the Neener Neeners, composed of Morgan Jones, Paige Jones, Micah Arcand and Trae Owsley. Their Calcutta winner was Matt Bowman.

In the junior division (8-12-year olds) was the Hog Hounds, Lexi Overfield, Hayden Overfield, Amelia Roberts and Tate Roberts. Their Calcutta winner was Engineering Associates.

The Twisted Sisters won the senior division (13-15-year olds) with Oakley Bowman, Kamry Bowman, Mariah Brooks and Katelyn Moeller. Calcutta for the senior division went to Cowgirl Consulting.

For the men's division, the Had To's came out on top with Will Farrell, Chip Axtell, Shane Wilson and Colt Roberts. Their Calcutta went to Tumbleweed Propane.

Women's division was won by the Pork Patrol consisting of Jessie Pennoyer, Stevie Jellis, Jules Ward and Melissa Ward. Arnold Pennoyer was their Calcutta winner.
