Ranch Rodeo hits town

Grab your boots and head down to the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds, Aug. 5-6, for the 26th Annual Lions Club Ranch Rodeo.

Cowboys from surrounding ranches are out to prove who is the best at what they do through a number of events, including wild cow milking.

Tickets for the event are $7.50 for adults, $5 for seniors 60 and older and kids under five are free.

Gates will open at 5 p.m. with a Calcutta on Saturday at 7 p.m. and the performance starting at 7:30 p.m.

Sunday’s event will see the gates opening at noon with the performance starting at 1:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce, Hot Springs County Senior Center, Storyteller, or from any Lions Club member.
