4-Hers compete at state shoot

Twenty-seven Hot Springs County 4-H members competed at the Wyoming State Shoot, July 6-9 at Douglas.

In Intermediate .22 Pistol, Owen McCcumber placed 18th with a 150 total. Eli Dickey placed 32nd with 63.

Junior .22 Rifle Light Target, Kaia Galovich placed 12th with 143.

Junior .22 Rifle Sporter, Dawn Burgess placed ninth with 103, Tanner Medvigy placed 11th with 98 and Sharon Burgess placed 15th with an 89.

Intermediate .22 Rifle Light Target, Carson Williams placed 23rd with 152, Destiny Harris and Owen McCumber tied for 34th and 35th with 111, Carson Medvigy placed 41st with 74 and Eli Dickey placed 42nd with 71.

Intermediate .22 Rifle Sporter, Ethan Music placed 32nd, though no total was listed.

Junior Air Pistol, Kaia Galovich placed second with 249.

Intermediate Air Pistol, Owen McCumber placed 18th with 238 and Eli Dickey placed 27th with 192.

As for team scores, the Junior .22 Pistol team of Owen McCumber and Eli Dickey placed 11th with 213.

The Junior .22 Rifle team of Kaia Galovich, Tanner Medvigy and Owen McCumber placed ninth in the combined Light Target and Sporter class with 352, and the team of Carson Williams, Destiny Harris, Carson Medvigy and Eli Dickey placed 10th with 337.

The Junior Air Pistol team of Kaia Galovich, Owen McCumber and Eli Dickey placed seventh with 679.

The Junior Air Rifle team of Tanner Medvigy, Sharon Burgess and Dawn Burgess placed third in the Sporter only class with 277. The team of Carson Williams, Destiny Harris Carson Medvigy and Eli Dickey placed eighth in the combined Light Target and Sporter class with 522.

The Junior Archery Class B team of Tanner Medvigy, Owen McCumber and Seth Dickey placed sixth with 539. The Junior Archery Class D team of Bridger Peil, Hayden Overfield, William Clark and Hardy Johnson placed 11th with 1,069. The Class D team of Lexi Overfield, Eli Dickey, Hayden Johnson and Hadley Johnson placed 22nd with 826. The Class D team of Michelle Burgess, Destiny Harris, Luke Dickey and Anthony Sword placed 35th with 559.

The Senior Archery team of John Maier, Jeffry Clark and Bryson Bartholomew placed 11th with 1,120.

The Junior Muzzleloading team of Hardy Johnson, Will Clark, Kaia Galovich and Lexi Overfield placed fifth with 499. The team of Destiny Harris, Carson Medvigy, Eli Dickey and Hadley Johnson placed seventh with 467.

The Junior Shotgun team of William Clark, Owen McCumber, Carson Medvigy, Ethan Music and Lexi Overfield placed eighth with 230.

The Senior Shotgun team of Remington Ferree, Jeffry Clark, Bryson Bartholomew and John Maier placed eighth with 317.
