League tourney softball play underway

The No. 5 One-Eyed Buffalo team took a victory over the No. 4 Robin Batsman in the first game of the Hot Springs County Recreation Department’s Adult Softball league tournament on Thursday, June 29.

The victory means they will move on to face the No. 1 Merit Energy team in the semi-finals, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 11.

On July 6, matchups between the No. 3 Sons of Pitches and the No. 6 Risen Son teams at 6:30 p.m., and between the No. 2 One Stop Sparkplugs and the No. 7 Slide One In at 7:45 p.m., will determine who will fill the remaining semifinal spots. The second matchup is schedule for 7:45 p.m. July 11, and the championship will be 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 13.
