McDermott, Simpson win two-person tourney

Travis McDermott and Kevin Simpson came out on top in the Two-Person Best Ball Tournament on Sunday at the Thermopolis Golf Course.

McDermott and Simpson were 13 under par for the day for the first place win, followed closely by Jake and Jessica Smith with 12 under par.

Steve Bury and Frank Toth tied for third with Jeff Dittmer and Sam Needham at three under par.

Other teams under par included Donnie and Valerie Bjorhus at two under par and Ethan Brooks and Dan Yetter, one under par.

Bob and Carrie Ryan came out even for the day while Chuck Cornella and Dave Flores scored five over par and Colte Russell and Jade Cole golfed eight over par.

Frank Toth had the low gross for the day with 76 and Jessica Smith had the low net with 61.

Skins went to McDermott on hole four, Simpson on holes seven and nine and Donnie Bjorhus on 15.
