Ricquelle 'Rici' Giannino

Ricquelle "Rici" Katherine Giannino passed away at her home on Monday, Sept. 12, 2016, in Cheyenne, Wyo., after a long battle with a rare disease Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP) that lead to heart and kidney failure.

Rici was born Nov. 9, 1992, in Thermopolis to Richard Giannino and Pamela Nebel (formerly Spatol-Giannino).

She was the girl with the most infectious smile and personality that left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Born a free spirit she would never allow any challenge of her illness to hold her back. Rici felt at home in the Wyoming mountains with a love of the outdoors that was contagious. She was happy to share the beauty of the mountains with anyone. She enjoyed motorcycle riding, hunting, wake boarding, hiking, camping, rock climbing and fishing.

She had a love of music of all types and shared it with everyone she loved. Yet her biggest love was her beloved dog, Charlie.

Rici attended Riverton High School graduating in May of 2011. She attended Casper College earning her Associates in Science working toward a chemical and petroleum engineering degree.

She worked at Sandfords in Casper and Cheyenne while attending school. She was also the voice introducing all the new rock on KTED in Casper and Gillette, KAZY in Cheyenne and The KROW in Cody.

Riquelle is survived by her mother, Pam and step father, Brandon Nebel of Riverton, Wyo.; father, Rick Giannino and his girlfriend Kenna Manasco of Casper; boyfriend, Chris Bretas of Cheyenne; brothers, AJ and Jon Giannino; step-sisters, Tera (Christian) Smith and Lacey Nebel and step-brother, Brandon Nebel, all from Riverton; aunts, Krystal Spatol and Lisa (Brandon) Grimes; uncles, Brett Giannino, Tony (Stacy) Giannino, Michael Stafford and Ben Stafford; grandparents, Sharon Giannino, Kathy Spatol, Jack and Anna Maria Nebel and Pete and Patricia Stafford; plus many cousins and great-aunts and uncles.

In heavens she was greeted by her grandfathers, John Giannino and Ted Spatol. She may be gone but never will be forgotten.

Services were held Saturday Sept. 17, 2016, at the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Cheyenne. Services were under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral.
